Do you want a bright white smile? Teeth bleaching is one way of achieving that goal. At Oak Ridge Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, teeth bleaching is fast and easy. After your teeth are professionally cleaned, an impression is taken of your mouth. That impression is used to create a model of your mouth. From that model, bleaching trays made of clear thin acrylic are fabricated. These trays are given to you along with the bleaching gel. You take them home and place the gel in the tray before going to bed. The trays are worn while you sleep. After about 3 to 4 nights, you will notice dramatic results. You can control how light to bleach your teeth.

Most people only require a week of wearing the trays. You can "touchup" the bleaching if you notice some lessening of the color by wearing the trays for a night. Many patients do the touchup about once a year, after their professional cleaning appointment.
