Matt and his wife Lynne were raised in Northwest Guilford County where their families still reside. Matt grew up in Summerfield and Lynne just a few miles away in Oak Ridge. Their aspiration has been to return to the area and serve the community. After practicing in internships and private practice in Alaska and across the state of North Carolina, they began construction of a new dental facility in 2000 and have returned home with their daughter Alexis.

Matt’s career has been highlighted by his dedication to continuing education and emphasis on integrating technology with the art of dentistry. He regularly attends courses held by the top names in the dental profession usually exceeding the number of annual hours of continuing education by two to three times the required minimum. Matt has attended seminars nationwide from Seattle to St. Petersburg, Florida.  Remaining on the cutting edge includes integration of technology into the practice.
